I loved the Anne of Green Gables series. My aunty had most of them and whenever we went to stay over Christmas I would dig out the next one in the series.
In Anne's House of Dreams she is newly married to Gilbert. I love the description of her home and the idea of a brook flowing across a back corner of the yard.
Someday I will have my House of Dreams. I won't be newly married but I will still love it and its inhabitants as much as any other woman can do.
